during the past year.  Due to the level of commitment from our loyal
customers as well as from the addition of new members to the Altec customer
family, we have been able to minimize price increases over the past years.
We've done this while introducing many new products and improving customer
service.

The current business environment remains quite turbulent with unprecedented
changes in raw material pricing.  We continue to work the Altec Production
System focused on lean manufacturing and supply chain programs to reduce
costs.

We have seen significant escalation of material costs in the past six
months, specifically in steel, tubing, cast iron, aluminum and copper.  In
many cases suppliers are limiting capacity or implementing allocations to
increase their prices.  These and other factors may require Altec to
increase its prices in 2010.
