Birmingham, AL – Altec Industries, Inc., a Birmingham, Ala., based manufacturer of aerial platform products, will be showcasing its 26 ton AC26-103T crane on a Prinoth Go-Tract 3000 chassis at The Big 5 Plant Machinery Vehicles in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 23-26, 2009.
The AC26-103T has a 23.6MT maximum lifting capacity, 31.4M 4-section noninsulated boom with a maximum working radius of 34 M. The optional two piece jib is 7.9M – 13.4M. The maximum tip height is 48.5M when equipped with the optional two piece jib fully erected and 27.3M without the optional jib. Standard features include a walk through control consoles, A frame walking beam and optional out and down with three working position outriggers. An 800lbs capacity, 36inx72in personnel platform, a platform test lift package and radio remote controls are all available.
Mounted on the Prinoth Go-Tract 3000 chassis, the Altec AC26-103T provides the highest level of mobility and traction on any terrain, while leaving minimum footprint. Features include a zero turn radius, all rubber tires with smooth surface and an industry-leading cab with roll-over protection and 15 percent better visibility than other cabs on the market. The AC38 has a 34.5MT maximum lifting capacity, and a 51.2M maximum height with the 9.4M fly jib.
Features include an enclosed cab with full climate control, wireless remote control for use outside of the cab, utility tool box for tool storage and the Altec Load Movement and Area Protection (LMAP) Safety System. An optional steel man basket is also available, which is stowed on the crane deck and easily attaches to the boom, converts the crane into an aerial work platform device.
